“It’s a great honor to be here tonight and receive such an amazing award in front of a crowd of entrepreneurs and important authorities who, like me, have recognized not only the business opportunities China offers, but also the inevitable need to be present in such a powerful country. Since 1981, my mission has been to bring the Italian feel around the world and, more than 35 years ago, after visiting China for the first time, my goal was to export the excellence of Made in Italy in such a fascinating country. Today I can proudly say to have been among the first Italian entrepreneurs to invest and do business with ideas and products customized for the Chinese market. Currently, the Tonino Lamborghini company is present in China with numerous products and projects, especially within the field of hospitality with high-end hotels and branded buildings. All these activities aim to transmit the historical roots that recall my DNA, my heritage and the fundamental values of the brand, amongst others, the Italian spirit. Whoever steps into my hotels and branded buildings enters my world, my lifestyle and breathes the atmosphere and design proudly Made in Italy. The award I am receiving tonight represents for me and my company a new and important milestone achieved after more than 35 years of business in a country that I have always loved.”

Recent years have seen the Tonino Lamborghini company strongly involved in China, counting three currently open 5-star hotels branded Tonino Lamborghini: in Suzhou, Kunshan and Huangshi.
